Here's the whole story!
Every year my family and I travel from TX to WI to spend a camping weekend with my husband's family. I've learned that we can have a quick, easy, nutritious lunch on the road during our 2 travel days north and later 2 travel days south. I mix peanut butter and honey at home in an easy-to-access jar so as we whiz down the highway I can spread the mixture on Wasa, usually as an open-faced "sandwich," and pass out as many "sandwiches" as necessary until everyone is full. Two to four such "sandwiches" is usually enough, along with carrot sticks, celery sticks, grapes, apple slices, etc. When we stop for gasoline, we can choose a cold treat with money saved from our economical lunch. Wasa is much better than bread in terms of ease of packing, shelf-life and spreading. It's much crunchier, more delicious, and nutritious, too! No need for fat-laden chips!
